Chaos in the garden…….

June 2005, it is  a lovely weather.

We are , for two weeks, back in Hagfors. On Saturday is the arrival and on  Monday at 8.00 am Fortum, the electicity companie, walks  around with a spray, because of the pipes in the ground and than a large truck, with all kinds of excavator on it, drives into the street.

Not knowning what a mess, what a chaos, in a short time can be made! Heaps of sand, stones, junk , from the ground, things that are necessary for the insulation and drainage in the garden. What should it ever be? In two weeks we will be welcoming our first guests! There’s a lot of attention, a little boy down Cristoffer, comes every day just inspecting, fortunately. Hear others tell it, once to be doing well, but dread to see! Can imagine now!

It is clear by now that it is not a luxury, the new drainage and sewerage, the water is coming under the house! At sertain moment, you hope the house will not collapse. Did not happen! Meanwhile we still enjoy a wonderful holiday in Ons Huset, the new name the house got.

The garden is trimmed again, sprinkle grass seeded and I certainly hope that the construction field has become a new lawn in the next vacation.

These weeks are spent on trips of course, Father’s Day was celebrated with coffee and cake, Gerton’s parents had arrived also and the enviroment was discovered. It became more of a feeling of coming home. On to next holidays!
